Collecting household, clothing and pantry items
Every month we work with parishes and other groups in the community to prepare homes for the homeless, refugees, asylum seekers, elderly and other disadvantaged groups. We are always looking for help and/or groups to take responsibility for collecting household and pantry packs.
Household packs: Collecting items from a prepared list for a specific household. These include kitchen items, bedding, bathroom and laundry items. They also include age appropriate toys, books and games for families with children. We are seeking goods that are new or good quality second hand.
Pantry packs: Collecting items from a prepared list to ensure a basic supply of non-perishable items for families and individuals. Most non-perishable items are welcome.
Clothing: Collecting new or good quality second hand clothes and shoes for families, children and individuals.
If you can assist in any way please contact us using the form below or phone 09-378 9650. You are welcome to drop off suitable items to Catholic Social Services, 40 Vermont Street, Ponsonby, Auckland.
